I like your proposal ideas. The iPod Touch is amazing especially with the new apps. I continually see new ways to use this device each day and hope we can do some R & D with students and teachers using these devices (if $ is available) this year.
Web 2.0 is a very useful tool to assist students with learning disabilities. I know from my recent 10 years in a middle school classroom (granted much of it before Web 2.0 but part with it) technology, and especially web-based learning enhanced and accommodated students' special needs and helped them succeed tremendously.

I like both ideas, but the second one really interests me because of the work I've done with web accessibility. We should talk more about this some time.
