Back at it with Conference Proposals

  • I like your proposal ideas. The iPod Touch is amazing especially with the new apps. I continually see new ways to use this device each day and hope we can do some R & D with students and teachers using these devices (if $ is available) this year.

    Web 2.0 is a very useful tool to assist students with learning disabilities. I know from my recent 10 years in a middle school classroom (granted much of it before Web 2.0 but part with it) technology, and especially web-based learning enhanced and accommodated students' special needs and helped them succeed tremendously.
  • I like both ideas, but the second one really interests me because of the work I've done with web accessibility. We should talk more about this some time.
  • I'm looking forward to learning more about your second proposal. I know I'm ignorant about how to best help special needs students, and I'm sure I'm not alone. This is an important topic! I look forward to learning more about it from you!
