EduTechie: Learning from the Example of a Great Man - In Loving Memory of Robert VanDrimmelen Jr.

  • Douglas · 1 year ago
A fitting and apropo tribute to a great man, and a great family. Although it's been many years, I enjoyed the opportunity to go down memory lane with your family and realize how many of those things permeated my life as well. Your dad truly was a great man, but I thought you ought to also know his example and exertions have not been lost on his son.

    Godspeed sir.

Thanks for blogging this Jeff. You have an awesome father (and Father). With only 10 years until I'm 54, you made me want to go home, hug my family and start making as many memories as I can! My prayers are with you and your family.

A wonderful way to pay tribute is to share his and HIS awesomeness with others. It is missing in so many places these days. Thank you for sharing both with us. You and your family will be in our prayers.

My thoughts are with you and your family. The Comforter will help you through this period of your life. Beyond the veil is another great work to do, and your Dad is carrying on in that beautiful plan. God be with you...

Jeff, I'm sorry and surprised to hear of your dad's passing. My dad turns 54 in a couple of months, and he's already had one heart attack, so your news hit home. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You and I are more alike than I ever realized, both being the eldest in our families with dads that are educators for the Church. I know you and your family will continue being an amazing force for good out in NC. Kristen thinks that Deb is supermom and seriously doesn't know how you guys do things. :) Take care, and I'll try to keep in better touch... seriously. Keep the faith!

    Jeff,
I'm so sorry to hear about your father - I will call my parents tomorrow and tell them how much I love them - my dad turned 73 on Monday. Thank you for writing down and sharing all of those wonderful memories. Your Dad must have been so proud of you. Much Love,
    RMB
